Supporters are welcome at The Crossing and can join you at the overnight stops throughout as well as dipping in to see you along the route.
Each day has a halfway checkpoint where supporters are welcome to come and cheer you along. Plus, they can come and see you cross the finish line each day at Shap, Northallerton and Scarborough.
Supporters can join you for the overnight stops in our event campsites if you have booked them space with you in one of our Glamping B&B tent-hire options. These tent packages include 10cm insulated mattress, bedding, in-tent charging points, camping passes and our breakfast buffet. Packages range from solos to parties of 5. See our camping packages here. Please note we cannot accommodate participant or supporters’ own tents or campervans. Due to space restrictions, supporter cars will only be able to access our Shap overnight stop if a car park space has booked next to a glamping tent.
There is a huge amount to do and see as your supporters travel through the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors. From cheese museums to breweries and countryside walks, there is something for everyone whether young or old. Plus, they’ll get to relax with you in the evenings and enjoy hearty grub and a cold beer in the overnight camps.

Tracking is available at www.ratracetracking.co.uk. The tracker relies on both the GPS and GSM network to provide its position. There will be times when both the GPS and GSM network are unavailable, due to terrain, network coverage or adverse weather conditions. Don’t be alarmed. As soon as the signal improves the tracker will update its position. The tracking page does not update in ‘real time’. It updates intermittently, subject to signal. It will not update any more frequently than 5 minutes. For Tracker support contact: 07772 912648
Our social media channels are not an active part of our event management and are not monitored while the event is live by the Event Team. If you require assistance please contact the Event Team on the relevant safety or tracking phone numbers contained in Event Information document.
Please visit pit stop locations to encourage all competitors. Please use the recommended parking or park and walk to them rather than block what will be both busy and important feed stations. Please note that the Pit Stop facilities are there for the participants so please offer them clear space as they prepare for the next leg.
Pit Stop locations will be at:
Stage 1: Pit stop location
Keswick Swimming Pool Station Rd, Keswick, Cumbria CA12 4NF. SUPPORTERS MUST PAY TO PARK HERE.

All Pit stop locations will be heavily signed and you are to ensure that you don’t stop on the road or block the route of the oncoming cyclists. Other stunning locations will be available on route throughout the 3 national parks. At these points it is essential you abide by the rules above for the safety of the cyclists and yourself. If you wish to provide personal or specific feeding it should be done at the pit stop locations and you should be courteous to other competitors.
